Is cryotherapy safe?

Yes, when administered correctly, cryotherapy is considered safe for most healthy individuals. Our trained team monitors every session for your safety and comfort.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No referral is required. However, we always recommend speaking to your GP if you have a medical condition or are unsure whether cryotherapy is suitable for you.

Who should avoid cryotherapy?

People who are pregnant, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe cardiovascular conditions, or certain cold-sensitive disorders should avoid cryotherapy. Always check with a healthcare provider first.

For whole-body sessions, you’ll wear provided socks, gloves, and underwear or swimwear. We provide everything you need.

Will I feel cold during cryotherapy?

Many clients report feeling refreshed, energised, and more mobile. Results vary, and individual experiences may differ.

How often should I do cryotherapy?

It depends on your goals. Some clients come once a week, others 2–3 times. We can guide you based on your lifestyle and preferences.

Does cryotherapy help with pain?

Cryotherapy may help relieve general muscle soreness and tension, but it is not a medical treatment. Please consult a health professional for pain management.

Localised cryotherapy targets a specific body area (like knees, shoulders, or back) using a handheld cryo device. Sessions are brief and focused.

What’s the difference between whole-body and local cryotherapy?

Whole-body cryo affects the entire system and is used for general wellness, while localised cryo focuses on a particular area.

Some people report improved sleep after cryo sessions, likely due to the relaxing effect — but this is not guaranteed and results can vary.
